Series of night landscapes of old-growth forest, trees, and the cycles of life. The kind of forest seen in these images has been completely erased from Southern Finland through industrial forestry and land use. The title of the work emphasizes this: it is simply a forest, a portrait of a forest. As it is when it has been allowed to be itself – a forest.
